Nails should always be filed when dry to insure smooth edges. Place the nail file under the nail edge and file in one direction only.
Cleaning Instructions: Put nail file under running water and brush the grit surfaces lightly. Do not leave immersed under water for more than 10 minutes. Pat dry and allow to air dry for 24 hours before re-use. Be sure to check with your local, state and federal regulations regarding proper sanitation laws if using this product in a salon.

I used to get my files custom made from another company that no longer makes files. I was worried I wouldn't find quality files again. I purchased 240/400 3.5" x .75" mini files and I am very happy with the quality of the file! The file abrasives does not crumble! The minis are a perfect size for minimal nail filing. Not a lot of waste for single use mini's vs full size files. I will continue to order!
